The end of summer is nearing...

The end of summer is nearing and my list of to do's are no where near getting marked off. Why do I make such a long, detailed list each summer? I made grand plans of reorganizing, redecorating, redoing galore. Instead, I have been a doting mom to my own children. Sometimes, I feel during the regular school year I can get so carried away with my school kids that my own children get neglected. Ok, maybe not neglected. But, I am pretty passionate about my career. As I get older.... yes, I'm pulling the "old" card. I have realized that as much as I like to organize, plan, and put everything in its place just right. There is something to be said for going with the flow, trying to create that balance and realizing that time spent with family should be at the top of my list each and everyday. So, why do I feel so guilty? I believe it has to be a woman gene for "must do it all" all the time.

Anyway, I took some time to relax, took a lot of time with my children, worked on nutrition and fitness this summer. I tend to focus on better health habits in the summer. It takes time and planning and I hope that my new habits pay off when life gets crazier during the school year. I really feel like I took a deep breathe and took that much needed break. I feel r e l a x e d. whew.

I'm looking forward to dive into new classroom projects. I have a bazillion new ideas. I'm looking forward to reorganizing, redecorating, redoing galore in my home too. I just didn't have to do it all in my few weeks off. :) I'm also looking forward to writing on my blog again. I think I feel like what I have to say needs to be perfect, so that enables me to shy away from writing. However, I have a new goal that I'm working on. It's a book. I'm really excited about it. So, one of the stepping stones will be writing on my blog. I'm hoping it will help inspire the pages of my book.

Ok, so this is my official first blog post in a year. My goal is to post something monthly. :)

Happy thoughts...

I'm a JAMBERRY Independent Consultant

Life just keeps getting exciting!!! Have you heard of Jamberry Nail Wraps? It is like the coolest thing.

What are they?

The wraps are a solid film covering that can be applied directly to the nail to achieve a look not found anywhere else. This special material is both pressure and heat activated to create a water tight bond to your nail. The shields are made in the USA, with no harsh chemicals and are latex free.
This new nail treatment can be applied in about fifteen minutes at home. With over three hundred styles to choose from, these designer wraps are made to last up to two weeks on fingers and four or more on toes. Unlike traditional nail polish, they won’t chip and require no drying time. It’s so easy to achieve a professional, salon look at a fraction of the cost.

What I really love about them?

They are affordable and FUN. There are so many designs and give me the ability to be creative without the cost and effort. They are super easy that I can do them myself. I can be nerdy and apply some fun holiday themed wraps or be super chic while sporting some chevron.

But, what REALLY sold me on Jamberry?

THE AUTISM WRAPS!!!! Are you kidding me? These are perfect for me. I probably have about 30 different autism shirts and now I can have autism nails to match. How perfect is that for this autism mom, teacher, and advocate?!?! This is just another way I can spread autism awareness, while supporting the cause with $2.00 per sheet going towards the Autism Society. Not to mention, this is helping my own family achieve more.

Here is my website where you can shop: www.rachelreynolds.jamberrynails.net
